I didn’t go to the gym for about 1.5 weeks because I was having some back issues (had back surgery last year so my back isn’t 100%).

During that week I felt:

  • Pretty miserable
  • A bit depressed
  • Definitely not giving 100%
I got back in the gym this week and wow, it’s like an on/off switch. I’m back to myself again. Physical fitness is ridiculously important for the mind. You don’t have to hit the weights at the gym, but try to maybe go for a walk, or run, hike, whatever you want
